Libby came to live with me when she was 18 months old, after her original owner returned her to breeder Joanne Reed. Joanne was looking for a placement that would allow Libby to be shown, and I was looking for a well-bred Keeshond as a companion. Although at the time I was not particularly interested in showing, I had shown Kees in the early 1970s and thought it might be fun to get back into it. Libby and I hit it off immediately, and all my Kees activities since are a direct result.
You can read Libby's elegy here.

Blue's sister Corrie was supposed to be my next show bitch and brood bitch, but neither worked out for her. So instead she's become my most entertaining dog and the smartest dog I've ever owned. The list of "Corrie stories" goes on and on...

Juju is a good-sized, substantial bitch, but very feminine. I showed Juju to all but her last major, and she's a very willing and easy girl to show. She finished her championship with a 5-point major at the KCSC specialty in 2010, and quickly followed up with two BOS awards at the NorCal Keeshond Club specialties. Juju is a sweet girl, and has produced two beautiful litters so far. Juju resides in Arizona with co-owner Chris Blom.

(Yes, that's an old picture!) Kizzy is smart, cute, agile, and very self-willed. She's also a real sweetie who likes to cuddle. She's been waiting in the wings while I concentrate on her brother Bopper, but I hope to start showing her within a year.

Introducing my new baby, Sunny! She's the daughter of Blue and Juju, a breeding I've planned for a long time. Sunny is a natural freestacker and a beautifully balanced girl, and I'm really looking forward to showing her! Watch for her in 2012.
