June grew up slowly, but has been well worth the wait. She's been impressing all sorts of people with her excellent structure, showy carriage, and lovely flowing gait.
Judge Eugene Blake thought enough of "the Junebug" to give her Best of Winners and Best Opposite Sex (over a bitch special!) at Santa Clara Valley Kennel Club in February '07. She took home an armload of rosettes and embroidered towels for that one!
June got her first major by going Best of Winners at Gavilan KC under respected judge Dorothy Welsh. She finished at the Keeshond Club of Southern California specialty in 2010 with the assistance of handler Joanne Reed. In her only two outings so far as a special, June went Best of Opposite Sex at both Nor-Cal Keeshond Club specialties, with handler Adrian Ghione.
