Juju earned her first major at Del Monte Kennel Club by going Best of Winners. One more major to go, and she'll have her championship. Orion picked up three more points over the summer. Their mother, Windy, produced a litter by Ch. Windrift's Mutual Funds, and the boy from that litter made his show debut at the San Mateo Cluster after Christmas. Watch for him as he grows up: Vanderblom Aramis (Musket).
February 2007, Santa Clara Valley Kennel Club

I had a great day with judge Eugene Blake; Juju got Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, and Best of Opposite Sex (over a specials bitch!). I also showed her brother Orion (Vanderblom Boreas) for owners Judy and Nick McDonald, and Orion went Winners Dog for his first two points.
January 2007, Keeshond Club of Southern California: The KCSC show is held in conjunction with Orange Empire Kennel Club in San Bernardino. This is always a really fun weekend, and this year was no exception. Beth Blankenship (Trumpet Keeshonden) flew out for the weekend with her new special, Stryder. I enjoyed visiting with Beth, and she was very pleased with Juju (who was sired by Beth's dog Bentley). Blue dumped his coat and was not at his best, but I showed him at the specialty anyway just for fun and he enjoyed himself tremendously. KCSC put on TWO specialties on Friday, so it was a long day for the dogs and me (not to mention the club members, who must have been exhausted!). Juju pleased us very much by going Reserve to two majors over the weekend, and getting lots of compliments from judges and other breeders.
