Libby and the kids aren't the only dogs in the household. We live with my friend Chris Blom and her pack of four Kees. Chris was kind enough to let me rent space in her home when I lost the rental I'd been living in, and the arrangement has worked out well. We both enjoy dog shows, reading, and art (Chris is a very talented artist, and well-known in the Kees world for her portraits and illustrations). Chris breeds Kees under the name Vanderblom. You can see Chris' artwork at www.christinablom.com.
Windy (Ch. Windrift's Wind Song) is Libby's niece and our resident glamour girl. Despite not caring much for the show ring, Windy had a successful show career, finishing 2002 as KCA's #9 Keeshond Bitch.

Windy's first litter, sired by Ch. Sherwood's Silversmith HOF, produced three champions, which tied her for Top Producing Bitch of 2004. Her second litter, by Ch. Trumpet's Ticket To Ride, was born in June 2005. Windy produced a third and final litter in June 2007, by Am/Thai Ch. Windrift's Mutual Funds.

And here's our mutual baby, Vanderblom Flaming June (Juju). Chris and I co-bred and co-own this promising little girl. Juju is one major short of her championship, and her brother Orion is pointed. Her sister Vanderblom Circe Invidiosa for RS lives in Moscow (yes, Russia!), earned her Russian championship at an early age, and will be shown in Europe and Scandinavia.
